Senior Interactive Designer

Do you looooove making slick websites, from wireframe to final design? Is your favorite web build a five-page marketing site with lots of scroll effects and storytelling? Is your favorite coworker the dev team? Or even better, are you the dev team? 

This January is looking for an interactive designer or designer + developer to join our team for a 3-month contract. We're open to a variety of seniority levels between midlevel and director, as long as you feel comfortable taking a website from idea to dev handoff.

This position could be either in-office at our DC HQ or remote but must be in the US. 

The right candidate will: 

• Be a wireframe wizard, great at blocking out content for a site and thinking through the concept

• Be a design star, bringing incredible visual design quality to each and every page at every viewport size. Visual design is super important in this role. 

• Be an independent problem solver who's able to take initiative on their projects without a ton of oversight

• Be excited to collaborate with creative directors and copywriters, and equally excited to tackle design challenges solo 

• Be comfortable talking directly to a client partner via slack and meetings/zoom

• Front-end development experience would be a great bonus!
