Tilda Rose

Hello! My name is Tilda Rose, I’m a Finnish-American illustrator currently based in Helsinki, Finland. Before that I was based in Philadelphia for almost a decade. My creative process is very traditional, I usually create my works by using acrylic gouache and color pencils. I also like to dabble in ink for black and white work. I’ve heard my work described as “unique fusions of color within disciplined compositions” and I think that rings true to my illustrations.

In 2019, I graduated from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia with a BFA in Illustration. Since then I have been fortunate to work with several notable clients, such as NPR, WSJ, PLANSPONSOR, Pentagram and Sierra Club. My illustrations have been featured both at the Society of Illustrators (2019, 2020) as well as Bologna Children’s Book Fair Illustrators Exhibition (2022).
