Tanya Brno

Hi, I’m Tanya, a UX/UI designer based in Seattle, WA. I have a lifelong practice in the performing arts, and have been creating experiences onstage for over 25 years. From act conception, costume construction, technical direction to building a personal website and sculpting a social media presence, I’ve created various large and small scale projects that have been awarded grants and generated positive media reviews. I hold a degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Washington, where I fell in love with the design process. My design tendencies are influenced by my lifelong practice of the arts; I’m highly visual in my approach, yet have enjoyed tailoring those visual tendencies toward a user’s problem statement to find an attractive solution. My goal is to create highly functional yet visually striking websites that become memorable by not only solving problems, but by generating emotions in the user.
