Hi, I’m Mikka.

I’ve built over 200 websites as a one-woman team - but my story didn’t start there.

My career started in engineering… which is really just a fancy title for creativity and problem-solving. I loved that part of the job but not the confinement of a corporate job. As my husband and I started growing our family, I started exploring more flexible career paths.

Through many hours of trial and error, I taught myself graphic design and website development on Squarespace. I became a top certified Squarespace Expert and started supporting business owners in creating professional websites that elevated their business and attracted more leads.

In 2016, I finally felt confident to leave my 9 to 5 and start my own business – Studio Elias. Over the course of the next 8 years, I worked with over 200 businesses and organizations in the US.

My passion for creativity and problem solving never faded and I continue to be driven by building websites for businesses and nonprofits to make a positive impact.
