Tell us what you love about Houston.

We love that in Houston, opportunity abounds. Whether professional growth or personal interests, there are countless activities to participate in and interesting people to meet. Houston also has its own very unique culture. It’s not like the East Coast with the history of the country and it’s not like the West Coast with the up-and-coming trends of the new year. It is smack dab in the middle of the old and new and you can feel it and see it all around.

Where do you work in relation to the rest of Houston?

We work in Downtown Houston—close to the Downtown Shops and the Houston Tunnels. Also, we are only a walk away from Discovery Green. We are right in the middle of it all!

Tell us about Houston’s design scene.

Houston’s design scene is burgeoning, but somewhat hidden. We have some world-class agencies and some smaller digital studios that are absolute gems. Houston may not have the energy of New York or the weather of Los Angeles, but we do have incredible culture and local creatives who are willing to share their passion with others.

Choose three shots from Houston-based Dribbblers you admire and tell us what you like about each one.

The Letter Y by Aaron Tenbuuren, above left.

We might be a little biased here, but our most senior designer (now studio lead) has done some incredible illustration work over the years, and his letter a day series is something to behold.

Gathering by Moni, above middle.

Another fantastic designer/illustrator from the Houston area who has created countless beautiful images, but this is definitely one of our favorites.

If you’re looking for a clean and clever logo designer in Houston, look no further!

Big thanks to Intrepid and Accenture for the support in hosting this event.
