Over 500 designers attended Dribbble Meetups in December with 8 meetups in 5 countries. Last month Dribbblers really got into the holiday spirit and a few meetups celebrated the holidays with tacky sweaters, white elephant gift exchanges, and other festive activities.

Early in December, Dribbble teamed up with Fantasy for a NYC Dribbble Meetup. Designers from all over the globe (Argentina, Spain, Russia, and Poland!) joined us for a panel lead by Founder and CCO of Fantasy, David Martin. There were great conversations and tons of swag. Thanks to everyone that came out!
Redwood City, CA @ Box HQ
“Box hosted a Silicon Valley Dribbble Meetup at our Headquarters in Redwood City. We had around 250 attendees who came to network with industry professionals. We started the afternoon with food and drinks, allowing people a casual atmosphere to walk around, network, and meet each other.
About halfway through the event we transitioned into a game of pub-style design focused trivia. Attendees broke into small teams to play, which was a great opportunity to interact and work with people you were not familiar with. Everyone loved the trivia and got really competitive with it. Winners of each round won tickets to submit to a final raffle. At the end we hosted a raffle to give away design focused products.
Overall, we received a ton of positive feedback on the event. Many said it was the best Dribbble event they have been to and it was pretty clear that everyone enjoyed the format. Thank you to Wealthfront and Shopkick for co-hosting the event as well as to AllBirds shoes for providing some of the prizes. Box very much enjoyed hosting and plan to host again in the near future.”

“We had 32 lovely people join us at a brand new startup called Unitplex Solutions for the Bhubaneswar Dribbble Meetup. Attendees participated in app prototype workshop. It’s been more than 4 months since our last Dribbble Meetup and again we meet the awesome designers in the city.”
Boston, MA @ Breather
“On December 15th, we paired up with the team from Breather Boston for a holiday party and fundraising event to benefit the Greater Boston Food Bank. A group of members, local designers (plus a new friend from London) came out to beat the cold and celebrate the past year. We had gear from sponsors to raffle off through the night and playoff sheets for people to play. People stayed to network over beers, drinks and and some holiday snacks. Thanks again to Sappi to for helping us make our holiday fundraiser wrapping paper.”
