Hi, I'm James Treweek, an artist and animator based in Kent, UK.

I'm passionate about art, music, dogs & science.
Animation brings at least 3 of those things together!

As an artist and animator I’ve worked for some major clients in the UK (Imperial War Museum, Trinity College Press, Greenwich Museums, Four Paws International, Alcohol Change UK ), but I’ve also spent 30 years working as a professional musician.

The combination of art/animation skills with a wealth of musical knowledge has given me a unique insight when it comes to animation for audio and illustrating books on music.

When the Covid pandemic stopped all music work in 2020, I returned to my passion for art.
I’ve always had an extremely vivid visual imagination and I set about learning everything I could about all aspects of art, animation and software.

I was able to gain commissions right from the start and what started as portrait work, developed into animation, music videos, motion design & illustrations for print.
