Time is money, every single decision we made will eventually affect the costs we pay and the values we produce. In the world of product design and development, the framework and tech stack we choose in the very beginning will lead to different team structures and work processes.

There is always a reason why we need to have a project manager role when you want the project to be sustainable. The key is to have a clear picture of what technology stacks are going to use in the project, then list out the constraint and things need to aware, bring in designers, developer, and marketer together for a hacking out the roadmap altogether. The role of a project manager is more than just a parenting role to keep track of the project status. It requires a board knowledge from start to execution, plus people management skill.

The clearer the initial roadmap, the easier you can go through during execution. When the team in Unicorn Vision tackle the GCFX project, we started identifying Flutter as the framework in the development and plan the whole execution strategy around it. What comes along is a proper design process and client presentations in a short period of time. The rest of the works are just people and risk management work.
