Don't give up on great ideas just because someone has already done something similar. Don't afraid to be labeled as a duplication of something. It is only part of a creative process. As long as you are keep improving, one day you are going to leave your own fingerprint on your product with your style.

When we start working on the Aroma Index project, there are lots of applications about aromatherapy on both the App Store and Google Play Store. But the fact is they are not user-centric design, none of them present the information in the way we wanted to. That's why we want to build an app for our own, first fulfill what we want, then try to iterate to a point that everyone is happy.

There is no one-time-work on any app design and development project anymore, instead, It requires continuous enhancement. Don't procrastinate, value your time and choose smartly. Great results will come along.
