Learnability

Learnability is the ease of a user understanding a system or interface. Learnability has a close relationship with usability as it is important for users to be able to pick up and use an application quickly. To improve learnability, apply Jakob’s Law (full description in Jakob’s Law post) by introducing design patterns that are predictable and familiar for the users. Find out expectations from users before they use the application and conduct user testing to discover how quickly users can learn an application.
