Polar Bear

The largest threat the polar bear is facing is habitat loss. Caused by climate change, the polar bear is now classified as a vulnerable species. Other issues they are facing include pollution from toxic contaminants and the exploration and development for oil and gas.
After making a comeback from over hunting, their numbers back in decline. Scientists predict two-thirds of the world's population may disappear by 2050.
