#3 Oak Tree

Another tree! This time I went with an Oak tree. These trees can become gargantuan in size and live for hundreds of years. I happened to walk by one of such size the other day - probably 5 or more feet in diameter - and I was like, "oh, I should draw that for my next tree." So I did.

I've been intrigued by the texture look that other artists achieve, so I set out to find my own style. This is my first time using textured Photoshop brushes, and I'm looking forward to using them more.

I've attached the simple process. Yes, that's really what my initial sketches look like!
