Your Own Road - A typeface detour

The next step in the Your Own Road project was to produce a few typeface-based options, just in case the hand-lettered variations didn't suit the client.

I used a variety of worn, rugged typefaces, ranging from brush emulation to grunge sans serifs. We went through two quick rounds before the brush lettering won.

The first round included the following typefaces (or type combinations):
- The Treasured Years Script
- The Treasured Years Script
- Heartwell
- Manhattan Darling Regular
- BrushUp
- Daft Brush
- Sweetgrass Script
- Bonjour
- Bonjour

The second round included the following typefaces (or type combinations):
- The Treasured Years Script / The Treasured Years Display
- Heartwell / Yonder
- BrushUp / Microbrew One Regular
- Daft Brush
- Amorie Modella Bold
