Your Own Road - Hand lettering approach

A few weekends ago, I've had the chance to work on a movie poster!

It is an 11"x17" Kickstarter reward for some of the backers of Your Own Road.

Due to the timeline of the project, we settled on a "type over a movie still" approach.

In this shot, I wanted to share the three main hand-lettered text block we worked with. They were executed with a small watercolor paintbrush, and black ink. You can have a closer look at the edited (color corrected, cleaned-up backgrounds, adjusted spacing) elements in the attachment.
