Day 6 - The W Flame

This is Day Six of Thirty Days of Logos, in which I share a new logo idea for my design studio, Wildfire Studios, every day for 30 days.

This was based on a fireball still, but I wanted to reveal a W in the shape of the fireball. I think this idea was too ephemeral, and not obvious enough. I also think the truly clever way to do this would be to find a way to include the W in the white space of the logo, and not as the shape itself. Maybe on another day in the 30 days I'll give that a shot.

As is, this is not a contender for my final logo, but my mission is to be transparent as I make more of these, so it was important to me that I share it regardless.
