michalchyrek.com - darkmode 🌒
Hello again 👋🏻 As planned, this week I finished my dark mode - michalchyrek.com
Let me know in the comments which one is better ☀️ 🌒
Case study - Part II (last one)
Many thanks for supporting my previous post about my start as a freelancer. Here are some of my conclusions.
There were definitely 3 things that helped me achieve my goals and meet my deadlines:
1. Small steps and planning - I split my project into parts with goals in the correct order. Thanks to that I can dynamically shape the timeline and change the approach and strategy.
2. Talks with Heads and specialists - I had an opportunity to test my services and solution with my friends and previous coworkers and see how it works in a real environment. Combined with this first bullet I could easily shape the direction of the whole project.
3. Framer - the choice of this tool had a huge impact on the speed of the entire design process. It was easier for me to start with the html/css & webflow background, but if you are familiar with Figma, it's pretty much the same. Working with responsiveness and components in Framer is pure gold. There are a few things that could be improved, but hopefully some fixes will come soon. The velocity of publication is fantastic :) It's definitely worth a try.
I am aware that this dynamic approach is easier to implement in smaller projects and teams but I definitely will use a few things in my full-time product design job.
