Hello 👋🏻 Folks!
I am excited to share with you that I have finally finished my side project, my personal web - michalchyrek.com
It was something that I lately wanted to build, but the number of ideas and directions was pretty large. Definitely, developing the whole strategy and next steps was much more challenging than I thought. Big thanks to all who help me validate my ideas (more details on my LinkedIn profile).
At the moment, I have two groups of services:
Figma trainer / design system consultant - I help creatives to develop Figma skills (workshop with tasks or 1 on 1 session). It seems to me that the variety of people and projects will also allow develop myself in many areas. It's still an open thing, I have no idea how deeply I will go into this or how much I will like it. I am open to any suggestions and opportunities for shaping this direction.
Framer websites - I have always been passionate about the fact that I can craft a final working product or solution. I love working with developers, but with smaller projects, it is quite time-consuming and increases the cost of the entire project. For these reasons, I decided to master a no-code tool - Framer. Soon I will build a dedicated landing page for my Framer web studio.
In conclusion, now I have the option to create blog content or UI materials and simultaneously develop these two services. I like my work-life balance and I don't know how absorbing will be to connect my main job with freelancing. But I am glad that I now have an opportunity to decide what type of responsibilities I will enjoy the most.
Any web issues and ideas in comments or via mail would be much appreciated. I am also open to a conversation about the project and developing these directions. Have a great day!
