Weirdtober 005/031: Lock-Cat? Shadow-Heed? – Shadowcat & Lockheed!, “Playtime is over […, X-men. You're about to see something else you're probably not ready for.]”
Phew. What a week, am I right?
Alright, so I’ve been wanting to draw someone with horns again – It’s a schtick of mine, I know, I love horns/bones/skulls, but also flowers and foliage 😁. But on my long list of potential characters to draw, there weren’t any with horns… until I remembered the good ol’ little dragon, Lockheed! And Lock paired up perfectly with Shadowcats/Kitty Pryde’s abilities to phase through things – so… what if Lockheed took a it a bit too far and started to go right through her, too! 🧐🤓😅
Picturing they just flew through a giant field of flowers and leaves, and got some bushels flying through with ‘em!
I wonder if Kitty & Lock ever did this to intimidate an enemy in the comics? Would be quite the site! 😂🐉 Ah, I love being a geek-nerd. Creativity runs wild and weird. 😉
Kitty Pryde has so many awesome (and terrible) costumes, too! Lots of nostalgia while looking through references and old comic books including my very own hard cover copy of the Marvel’s X-Men - The Ultimate Guide - Updated Edition by Peter Sanderson (which I’ve had since like High School!?) 💖
