Weirdtober 004/031: X-Force?… Colossus, Domino, Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Deadpool, “I’m Batman”

I took a bit of a break in between this one and the previous three. I just wasn’t really feeling them. Even though they turned out well enough, I rushed through them and didn’t give ‘em enough Nina-touches. Weird sounding, but it’s weird-tober. Even though I told myself these are just going to be fun sketches again, I still struggled with that concept. And, struggled with inspiration and motivation. It happens. 🤷🏻♀️
But, after I figured out that it needed some extra Nina-ness, and found some motivation – even starting off with small touches like leaves and flowers, I was a bit more motivated to get ‘er done. So much so, I tackled this quartet – taking in inspiration and references from Deadpool 1 & 2 – the main [and living 😅] heroes, excluding Cable because it was getting too crowded. Then I did have the idea, remembering that Entertainment Weekly cover, to cover up big ol’ Colossus 😊 But no worries, big guy gets his shine, too, on his solo feature when you swipe through. 😂
