Janelle bae Monáe. Definitely, for me this one is her best album to date. Janelle has always been a talented and wise artist for me, and forever I’ve admired her ability to create concepts and ideas that support her artistic and personal vision. Dirty Computer is a record full of different genres like R&B, soul, funk, hip hop and a little bit of rap. And in each of those genres, Janelle is THAT bitch. Each of the songs on the album has its own personality and as a whole, they compose a beautiful symphony full of different flavors and melodies that are hard to forget. It’s a mature album with an incredible concept behind the composition and the visuals that accompany it. A must-have for any funk lover.
