Shanna Gerlach

Hi! I'm Shanna, a brand-new transplant to Austin from the Bay Area (originally the DC Area) fascinated by UI design, and a 2020 graduate of the University of Richmond (B.A. in Theater, B.S. in Psychology, minor in Visual Media Arts Practice). I've been lucky enough (and curious enough) to have explored and created projects in just about every category of artistic expression there is, and I have no intention of stopping anytime soon. I'm excited by how and why things work both conceptually and visually, things that have never been done before, the shapes of letters, challenging problems without obvious solutions, and people.

I'm also a self-taught handletterer, recently published poet/collage recently published poet/collage artist, I just finished painting my first wall mural, and one time I sang backup to Rita Ora and Janelle Monae for the Obama family on national TV.
