Roman Yanish

I am a UX designer passionate about designing a better world, one interaction at a time. My philosophy has always been to design for humans, with a user-centered approach informed by research, data analysis, and empathetic user journeys. This approach has led to proven success in digital design, marketing, and event planning. I started in events, focusing on audience experience to help clients plan thousands of memorable events. I am a uniquely skilled storyteller, communicator, and team builder who negotiates across teams to grow movements and improve products. Most recently, I expanded the membership, volunteer, and outreach programs at the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History. My goal with every project is to design experiences so enjoyable that people bring them up at happy hour (in a good way).
