Biography
As the owner and trainer/designer at Try Hard Coffee Roasters, I combine my passion for culinary arts and graphic design to create delicious coffee and train a knowledgeable staff. I have an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Restaurant, Culinary, and Catering Management from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, and a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from James Madison University. I have over 10 years of experience in the craft beverage industry, where I honed my skills in hospitality, social networking, and design. I am also a certified barista and a co-founder of SheBrews, a non-profit organization that makes space for women in the craft beverage industry. I am driven by the mission of empowering, educating, and connecting people through social media, events, and gatherings. I am always eager to learn new skills and explore new opportunities in the design, culinary and beverage fields.
