Of all the things I’ve done as a visual artist, from illustrations for The New Yorker and Forbes to writing children’s books to drawing storyboards for movies and doing caricatures aboard the QE2, nothing has given me more pleasure than designing book covers. I’ve designed covers for hundreds of books, with Bellevue Literary Press, Montag Books, Trinity University Press, Dzanc Books, Black Lawrence Press, 2040 Books, Columbus University Press, The Cato Institute, among my clients.
