Biography
I'm Marco Battaglia, a skilled graphic designer with extensive experience in both agency and freelance settings, specialising in Typography and Calligraphy. My career highlights include co-founding Jestime, collaborating with prestigious Italian Graphic Design Studios like Kidstudio and RovaiWeber, and founding Type Foundry Aspro Type in 2020.
Besides my involvement in the design world, I also have a passion for teaching. I have taught courses on Graphic Design for Social Issues at the IED in Florence, Lettering at the Academy of Fine Arts in Reggio Calabria and Graphic Design for the Image at the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia.
My workflow includes a first phase where I usually design two or three concepts and send them to the client to discuss and then refine the chosen concept.
In the second phase I proceed to the realisation of all the accessory materials, always with various layout proposals.
Once everything is defined, I proceed to the realisation of the brand guidelines.
