I'm a freelance designer, visual artist, and art director from Birmingham, UK, working under the alias “Misery Take me”. With 4 years of industry experience, hundreds of creative projects under my belt, and a growing alternative gothic clothing brand to match, Misery Take Me has earned a growing reputation within the DIY and grassroots music industry.

Specialising in track art, poster design and merchandise design; I draw inspiration from contemporary design as well as other styles like horror, metal, punk, and gothic aesthetics. I rework and mould these styles into a unique blend of alternative design and art, paying homage to more nostalgic mediums and feelings. Utilising techniques like weathering, texture, and distress, I love to give my work its own life and character.
