Hi, I'm Melanee!

Designer by trade and storyteller by heart, I love to create designs and concepts that connect with an audience. Based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, I'm a digital media designer specializing in video and motion graphics.

My passion for motion design was sparked as a teenager. I'd see innovative TV adverts and feel like I was witnessing magic. In 2021, I decided it was time to follow my dreams and applied for the Digital Media Design program at Red River College Polytechnic. I’ve spent the past two years immersed in 2D and 3D animation, using programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, and Cinema 4D.

My prior work includes explainer video animations, graphics packages, and video work spanning from pre- to post-production. I've also received grants for art installations ranging from art workshops to a video and light projection installation for Nuit Blanche Winnipeg 2022.

When I’m not designing, you can find me painting, hiking, and exploring new hobbies.
