Biography
Born & raised in Michigan, I attained a BSE in electrical engineering at UofM. After graduating, I moved to the Bay Area for work as an electronics engineer.
I’ve always been interested in art, graphics, design, and wondered if there was a career that could fulfill my yearning for creativity in the work field. Then I discovered UI/UX design, which piqued my interest. I began studying after work hours, finding courses through Coursera and reading plenty of informational web posts on UI/UX topics. I’ve also participated in a hackathon, formed my first case study on an original mobile application, and am continuing to learn, build my portfolio, and break into UI/UX.
Over the past 3 years, I’m grateful to have developed and honed my skills in project coordination, communications, time management, and leadership. With these skills and my continuously growing knowledge in UI/UX, I am excited and looking forward to contributing to the field and working alongside those with the same mindset.
