Jo Lee

I originally began my career in graphic design. My desire to grow as an artist, coupled with loving new experiences has fuelled new creativity and direction for my visual art and illustration work.

I am very inspired visually by the elements of nature and the internal and external forces that shape and form the experiences of being female. It is through the medium of watercolour I can be both intentional and unintentional with how colours and shapes can convey emotions, purely based on the technique I choose. I bring this tactile element and use the digital medium to collage as well as add different textures.
