Biography
Hello! I’m Kayla. I’m a self-professed uber-nerd with a love of most things pop culture. I’ve spent most of my life pursuing creative endeavors, like acting and music, and found a natural extension of this when I started studying UX/UI design.
I enjoy puzzles and building things – when I was little, it was LEGOs. Beyond following the wordless instructions for my large sets, I loved (and still love) creating unique structures with the loose bricks I had access to – from a spaceport for my beloved Star Wars sets to a Valentine box complete with LEGO hearts. That fondness for puzzles evolved into a love of world-building, composing, escape rooms, and programming when I grew up. For me, puzzles are a way of surpassing any limits I’ve imposed on myself. I’m energized by taking a problem apart and finding the best way to put things back together in a way that works.
