Biography
Over the last 10 years, I have combined two passions into my career - art and helping others - by working as an art therapist / licensed professional clinical counselor. Over the last 3 years, my work became less focused on art and more focused on health care. While it's been a wonderful journey, I realized this path is no longer the right fit for me. Then I found UX Design and fell in love. I'm nearing the end of a UX Design Certificate program and realized that my background in art and psychology puts me in a unique position as a UX Designer, a role in which understanding and meeting the user's needs is at the foundation. I've also always been artistically inclined and look for any opportunity to exercise my creativity!
