About Dosen

Research shows that 95% of employees don’t know basic company information and of those that do, less than half know how their work aligns with organizational objectives. This is a $500B problem for US companies and one of the biggest concerns for HR leaders today.

That’s why we built Dosen, a venture backed lightweight employee alignment platform that allows companies to turn their company goals, best practices and top talent into gamified AI Masterclasses and Mentorship programs.

Role location

We are a start-up with a distributed workforce, so you can work remotely or from a co-working space in your location. To ensure that you overlap with all key team members daily, you will be required to be available between 6am and 2pm ET (11am to 7pm GMT).

Your Role

As the Product Designer in our Product Trio (Product Manager, Engineers, and Product Designer), you play the critical role of ensuring that all the hard work behind the scenes—validating value, viability, and feasibility—translates into an experience that users love. While the Product Manager ensures Value and Viability, and Engineers ensure Feasibility, you ensure Usability—crafting intuitive, engaging, and effective web and native experiences that make alignment seamless for all user roles.

Your Responsibilities

1. Own Usability Through Research & Holistic User Experience Design

  • Conduct user research (interviews, usability testing, analytics review) to uncover pain points.

  • Create and maintain user personas, journey maps, and core UX challenges across all Program models.

  • Design experiences that positively affect our Product Scorecard & KPIs.

  • Apply Holistic UX Design Principles, ensuring a balance of interaction design, information architecture, and behavioral psychology to create an engaging experience.

2. Lead Rapid Prototyping & Iteration

  • Quickly translate ideas into low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes.

  • Validate usability hypotheses through click-through prototypes, and real user feedback.

  • Iterate rapidly, incorporating learnings from qualitative and quantitative data.

  • Work closely with engineers to balance feasibility with the best possible user experience.

3. Ensure a Seamless Multi-Role Experience During Product Delivery

  • Design scalable, visually appealing, and intuitive UI components.

  • Develop and maintain a design system to drive a consistent UX.

  • Partner with engineers for smooth design handoff, implementation, and QA processes

  • Monitor real-world usage post-launch and iterate based on analytics and feedback.

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of experience in Product Design.

  • You love to conduct user research and translate insights into actionable design improvements.

  • You are adept at rapid prototyping and iteration as new insights arise.

  • Strong skills in interaction design, information architecture, and usability testing.

  • Experience with Figma or similar design tools.

  • Passion for designing engaging digital learning and mentorship experiences.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with iterative design cycles.

  • Experience handing off designs to engineers in a seamless fashion

Why Join Dosen?

  • You don't just want to receive a set of requirements and hand-off to engineers.

  • You want to be part of a team that embodies the empowered Product Operating Model.

  • You want to run discovery alongside our Product Manager.

  • You want to be a part of a venture-backed, high-growth startup tackling a $500B+ problem.

  • You want to help build a product that helps people grow and succeed at work.

  • You want to collaborate with a team that believes in data-driven design and fast iteration.

  • You want a competitive salary and a remote-friendly work culture.
