Motion Designer

The Motion Designer will be responsible for creating high-quality motion graphics and animations that enhance our video productions. The ideal candidate has a strong artistic sensibility, technical expertise, and a passion for storytelling. They will collaborate closely with the creative team to design visuals that align with our projects' goals and elevate their impact.

Responsibilities:

Create motion graphics, animations, and visual effects for a variety of projects, including documentaries, commercials, and nonprofit videos.
Collaborate with producers, editors, and the creative team to conceptualize and execute designs that align with the project’s vision.
Develop storyboards, style frames, and animatics to communicate motion design ideas.
Incorporate client feedback and revisions into designs efficiently while maintaining quality.
Use software like Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, and other design tools to produce stunning animations and graphics.
Ensure motion design elements are cohesive with the overall video style and brand guidelines.
Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques to bring innovative ideas to projects.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Motion Designer or similar role in video production.
Expertise in Adobe After Effects, Davinci Resolve, and other motion design software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender, or Maya).
Strong understanding of animation principles, composition, and typography.
A creative portfolio showcasing a range of motion design and animation work.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to take direction and incorporate feedback effectively.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time and multiple priorities.
A desire to grow in all aspects of motion design and animation.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in motion design and 2D & 3D animation.
Experience in real time 3D production pipeline a plus.
Knowledge of sound design and its integration with motion graphics.
Familiarity with branding and marketing principles.

Collaborating with the Editor and Creative Director to enhance storytelling.

Staying up-to-date with design trends and software advancements.
Ensuring motion assets are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
