Communications Publications Design Coordinator (Office of Student Communication, Division of Student Affairs)
POSITION DETAILS
The Communications Publications Design Coordinator will report to the Communications Marketing Manager.
In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, the Communications Publications Design Coordinator will support the Office of Student Communication by creating and managing visual content across multiple media. Key responsibilities include:
· Assist in creating engaging designs for promotional emails, newsletters, print materials, and social media, following the creative direction of the Deputy Director. Utilize logos, templates, and graphic elements in accordance with College branding.
· Help maintain consistency with College branding guidelines across all platforms to ensure all materials reflect the institution’s identity.
· Support the organization and styling of content for clarity and impact, enhancing the overall effectiveness of communications.
· Assist in reviewing final products, such as the commencement program, to ensure visual consistency and accuracy.
· Aid in the coordination of communications projects, ensuring adherence to basic technical standards and quality benchmarks.
· Help manage the production of materials across various media formats, both print and online.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree required.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
· Understanding of brand identity principles and their application across media.
· Ability to craft concise, engaging copy that complements visual elements.
· Basic familiarity with commercial printing processes and experience working with printing vendors is advantageous.
· A strong eye for accuracy and consistency in design and production.

· Coordinates the design and production of publications, written materials, and multi-media communications.
· Organizes publications and communications projects from inception through final stage in a variety of media
· Prepares materials and creates graphic designs utilizing logos, templates and other graphic elements
· Applies College-wide graphic and technical standards to insure quality and consistency of College identity
· Assists in coordinating production in a variety of media and formats, both print and on-line
· Performs related duties as assigned.

Salary commensurate with education and experience $44,411-$51,781.
