Senior UI/UX Designer
Please note: We are not considering agency outreach or third-party recruiting assistance for this role.
Who we are
Digit is a fast-growing B2B SaaS startup revolutionizing the way manufacturers manage inventory, production, and material planning. We believe manufacturers are the backbone of the economy. Our mission is to give them the software they deserve. Founded in 2022 by former manufacturing and startup executives, we’ve gathered significant funding and brought on an enthusiastic set of first customers. Now we’re ready to scale.
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to join our team and take ownership of our product’s user experience and design. This will be our first design hire. As the Senior UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in translating product visions into intuitive and beautiful designs. You will work directly with our CEO, who is currently leading product management, to bring ideas to life through Figma wireframes and deliver production-ready designs to our engineering team. You may also occasionally collaborate with other teams on design needs.
What you’ll do
Own the end-to-end UI/UX design process, from wireframing to creating high-fidelity prototypes in Figma.
Collaborate closely with the Product Manager (currently our CEO) to understand product vision, customer needs, and business goals.
Design intuitive user flows and create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that deliver an excellent user experience.
Work hand-in-hand with engineers to ensure seamless design handoff and implementation.
Participate in user research, including feedback sessions and usability testing, to refine designs.
Maintain and iterate on design systems to ensure consistency across the platform.
Stay updated on industry best practices and UI/UX design trends, applying them to enhance Digit’s product.
Qualifications
Experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably in SaaS or enterprise software.
Expert proficiency in Figma or other design tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD).
Strong understanding of UX principles, wireframing, and prototyping best practices.
Proven track record of creating clean, intuitive, and user-friendly interfaces.
Experience working closely with PMs and engineers, from early concept stages through to final handoff.
A portfolio that demonstrates both UX and visual design skills, especially in complex product ecosystems.
Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions based on user insights and business goals.
Knowledge of manufacturing or ERP software is a plus but not required.
What we offer
The chance to join an ambitious startup at a critical scaling phase.
Competitive salary and equity package.
A collaborative and growth-focused work environment with seasoned professionals.
The opportunity to shape the future of ERP for SMB manufacturers.
If you’re excited about building beautiful, intuitive software and want to help shape the future of manufacturing, we’d love to hear from you.
