Web and Marketing Designer- Canada

Web & Marketing Designer

Hi, I'm Ashley, VP of Product Marketing at Fellow đź‘‹ . I'm looking for a Web and Marketing designer to join the team in our mission to solve the meeting problem. You'll be part of a cross-functional team of talented and enthusiastic marketers who are passionate about our product, our customers and creating quality work.

We're hiring remotely, but are looking for someone in Canada. We have offices in Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto where you can pop in to work with other team members if you want some in-person time!

What is Fellow?

Fellow is a B2B SaaS solution with a mission of solving the meeting problem with AI, behavior-driving features, automation, and native integrations with over 50 apps and tools. Our product is the #1 meeting management software on G2, and is trusted by the world’s best teams (Shopify, Hubspot, Lemonade). Established in 2017, our team works remotely from cities across Canada, guided by our mission: Make Work Better for Everyone—and that includes our own employees!

Our values make sure we’re always evolving and growing, like our product. All employees are given regular feedback on their impact on the company’s growth, time to socialize and connect with their team members, and flexibility in their work to empower them to be their best.

We’re an ambitious team building the next big thing and we'd love to have you on this journey with us.

The opportunity

The Web & Marketing Designer will understand our audiences, our brand, and our objectives and will work hand-in-hand with our marketing team to develop creative concepts and designs with high impact. The work you create will be a key component of Fellow’s identity, directly influencing how our audiences perceive and engage with us. You’ll also work closely with our product design team to ensure a consistent aesthetic.

If you live and breathe design, take pride in artistic excellence, and want to be part of an innovative team, we’d love to hear from you. Please include a portfolio of your work.

You’ll thrive in this role if:

  • You’re a lifelong learner and you’re obsessed with keeping up on the latest trends and innovations in design but you already have a strong design foundation and experience working across various mediums.

  • You have professional experience in UI / UX and graphic design, and an online portfolio of exceptional design projects (eg. websites, landing pages, performance ads, illustrations, bonus: video and/or motion graphics).

  • You have an understanding of user behaviour, and an interest in studying and optimizing our audience experiences.

  • You think strategically about how your work contributes to achieving marketing objectives, you have a data-driven mindset, and a relentless drive for optimizing design performance and impact (ie. you have a deep understanding of the mechanics and conventions of performance ad and landing page design).

  • You collaborate well and can enable the team to move quickly with templates, guidelines and assets.

  • You’re very familiar with Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Google Workspace. Experience with Webflow and Framer are a plus.

  • You’re reliable, self-motivated, and have meticulous attention to detail.

Your typical days will involve:

  • Being a champion for the Fellow brand and visual identity, ensuring our design principles and brand guidelines are followed.

  • Evolving and shaping Fellow’s visual identity to align with our ICP and personas, playing a significant role in how we present ourselves to the world and how we connect with our audience.

  • Refining the design of our website to optimize for user experience, conversions, and our visual identity.

  • Strategizing with the demand gen, performance marketing, and product marketing teams to develop campaigns and assets that attract and convert our ICP into Fellow users and help our customers succeed.

  • Surfacing actionable insights and recommending design iterations for future growth experiments.

  • Developing an asset and template library that can be used by our team (including you!) to create content and social media assets. Building out styling rules to help us maintain quality and consistency across our various platforms.

Benefits

  • Personal and dependant health and dental benefits plan

  • Employee stock options

  • $1,000 annual personal learning credit

  • Regular compensation evaluations and adjustments

The Fine Print

  • Fellow has broad ambitions. We’re very agile and a place where changes happen fast and all the time. You have to enjoy the challenge of constantly learning and growing in your role, and rolling up your sleeves to make things happen.

  • Our environment is suited for people who thrive in experimenting and figuring out the best way to do their work, and sharing those successes with others.

  • You’ll have the autonomy to schedule your work to fit your schedule, but generally, everyone at Fellow has meeting availability between 10:30 am and 4:00 pm Eastern Time.

  • We’re 100% remote and candidates should be located in Canada and be legally entitled to work for any employer.

We're interested in hearing about your lived experiences and how your alternate path would make you excel at Fellow.
