Jenoveva

My name is Jenoveva, chilean based graphic designer and illustrator. I’m graduated from Universidad del Bío-Bío and I have a bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication.
I love drawing! This is my passion in life: express my world vision through shapes and colors. I also enjoy cooking, walking with my dog (Sakura, a lady dog), reading and watching movies. I’m too lazy to follow series so I prefer those that they have few episodes, like Downton Abbey, The Crown and Sherlock. I’m a Harry Potter’s big fan, too (my house is Ravenclaw).
I describe my illustration style as simple, childish, soft and expressive. That combination works very well. I like create things for kids and capture their world in a sweet and nostalgic way.
Research, observation and conceptual development are a fundamental part of my work, so I consider my creative process as the resolution of a visual problem through illustration. In addition, in the medium term I wish to work on children's picture books.
