Jennifer Doehring

Hello! I'm Jennifer Doehring, a German/Native American author- illustrator of children's picture books. Born and raised on the West Coast, I received my fine art degree from the University of California- Irvine, and I own an art studio called Palette Passions, where I teach painting and drawing to students of all ages. I'm a digital illustrator with a passion for recreating moody weather, funny characters, and glorious backgrounds. I love to grab a backpack and hit the trail, and I gather most of my inspiration from travel.
Fun facts:
I LOVE birds. I grew up with a green talking parrot that's older than me. (still alive!)
I hate cilantro. Yep, one of those people.
I can rap on karaoke night completely sober. Is that weird?
I've been told I'm a VERY fast illustrator, but in the best way.
