Biography
Andrew Spencer is currently a Senior Product Designer at thoughtbot.
With over six years of experience as a design consultant, he speaks the language of product, design, and engineering to help bridge the gaps that often exist between teams. As a designer who codes, he balances the creativity of design with the process and structure of development to provide a unique expertise from ideation to implementation. He is passionate about design thinking, user-centered design, accessibility, and an incremental approach to design systems. He has helped clients of all sizes launch innovative products that solve unique problems.
He also takes on occasional branding, web design, and photography work to help small businesses establish a beautiful, unique, and customer-centered digital presence.
