Gonzalo Vilar

Gonzalo has more than 10 years of experience designing for people. Starting as an event planner and designer for his own business, where he very rapidly learned about the complexity of creating meaningful user experiences, he embarked on a design career path that took him to the practice of graphic design, UI design, and lately UX design.

Throughout this career he worked for a variety of industries, including healthcare, fintech, software development, advertisement, audiovisual, gastronomy, architecture and event production. As a UX designer, he has been in charge of guiding product discovery processes that helped entrepreneurs transform their ideas into usable products. He believes that the secret sauce behind a successful product or service combines an evidence-based approach, the right implementation of a build-measure-learn loop, placing the user at the center of every decision and always striving to design for good.
