Biography
Gerard Martínez (1989), Cuba. Artist Independent, editor, post audiovisual producer, 3D artist in @forming_3d and creator of VFX. Founder and CEO of @laboca_estudio. Technician and Designer of Video Mapping. He has experience in cinematographic, fiction, animation works and documentaries. Studied Engineering in Telecommunications in the City University José Antonio Echeverría. Works as an editor, color checker, animation and VFX creator in the production company La Tiñosa Autista by the artist Jorge Molina. Worked in VFX composition in Trapiche Studio. He is a teacher and advisor at the San Antonio Film School of Los Baños, Cuba. In 2017 he collaborated with visual artist Katia Muñoz, in the production of an audiovisual for a exhibition at Ronda Barcelona Gallery. From February of 2021 he begins to work as an artist of NFT with the name of Forming3D, presenting works with the Fabrica gallery of Cuban Art, Wake Gallery, MOCDA among others. In 2022 participate in the 7th edition of the Festival Mapping Me!
