Emilia Thein

Hi everyone! My name is Emilia Thein and I am a fourth-year student at Syracuse University. I am pursuing a major in Industrial and Interactive Design!

Growing up, I was always fascinated by the art world and solving problems…and solving problems through my art. I was always curious as a child and I’ve promised to keep that each year that I get older. I’m passionate to create a world that’s easier to understand and navigate not just for myself, but for everyone.

I am passionate about user research, design strategy, disability design, and using technology to improve the human experience.

When I am not in class or working on projects, you can find me traveling, dancing, spending time with friends, and taking care of my newest nephew Miles! Although each day I leave the classroom, I’ve learned to never stop learning, exploring, and looking at the world through five-year-old me.
