Darka White

My passion for drawing was born when I was just a little girl, watching my grandfather create his graphite portraits. I later mastered my creative endeavours in the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana, where I studied industrial design. After four years, I decided to continue my path as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer. Moving from Ljubljana to Italy, I displayed my work in several group and solo exhibitions, as well as collaborated with various authors.
I strive to embrace the changes that time brings into my life and never stop learning. That is why I recently embarked on another academic journey and enrolled in psychology at the University of Trieste. This choice is also reflected in my work, which I now find more compassionate and empathetic.
I look forward to the challenges the future holds and will never stop exploring and trying new creative impulses, whenever and however they present themselves to me.
