Hsi An Chen

Hsi-An is a set designer who collaborates effectively with production teams and to creates thoughtful and striking designs. She had six years of classical fine arts training before she was admitted to the Department of Drama and Theater at National Taiwan University. Following her training at NTU, she served as a freelance scenic designer and associate designer for theater, exhibition, and immersive entertainment in Taiwan and China. With her versatile experience and impressive portfolio, she was granted a full scholarship to the prestigious graduate theater program at UC San Diego, where she continues to surprise the audience with unique and beautiful designs. She graduated from UC San Diego in the spring of 2020.Currently, Hsi-An lives in lovely San Diego, California, and looks forward to many more opportunities to make art in the United States.
