Biography
About
Charlie Thompson is an Illustrator from Plymouth, Devon. She currently works in a small town just outside of Plym and is in the process of receiving her Bachelors in Illustration at Plymouth College of Art.
Her primary medium is digital illustration using Procreate, an IPad and the good old Apple Pencil. She also works traditionally in charcoal, graphite and Graphic Markers.
Charlie has been creating traditional art most of her life and has been working digitally since the start of 2020 (thanks lock-down)
She has always been inspired by poppin' colours, the female body, general empowerment, the lgbtq+ community, inter-sectional feminism and equality amongst all. She loves to start conversations and touches on important issues in her work. Recently focusing on the female form.
