Anh Tran

Anh Tran is a Vietnamese American illustrator and designer from Lincoln, Nebraska based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

In her work, she uses vibrant colors, patterns, and simple shapes to capture the simple joy of existing. Her illustrations celebrate the joyful, serendipitous, and often overlooked moments and perspectives in life. She works primarily in a digital process informed by cut paper and printmaking techniques to convey the dimensionality of life and a labor of love. Her work reflects the world around her—surrounded with plants, fruits and vegetables, food, vibrant colors, and patterns.

Anh holds a BFA in Illustration from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. She is currently the Abeln/Little Design Fellow at MCAD's in-house design studio, DesignWorks.
