Andrew Mulhearn

I love producing illustrations because it is picture-making in its purest form. Picture-making gives me the satisfying challenge of breaking down complex topics into simple metaphors and images. Sometimes my work is prompted by an emotion or a feeling I have, sometimes by intractable socio-economic issues, sometimes by my favorite literary or historical figures. Regardless, making images is a way for me to externalize my thought process into something tactile or digital.
