My more than 3 years previous experience in graphics design, designing logos, flyers, brochures, social media banner ads etc has tremendously helped me transition into a UI/ UX designer role where I successfully got unique and advanced grasps of how it works.

I understand the ui/ux design role is not about pleasing the eye, designing cleverly or just coming up with appealing art that is not actionable.  It's more than all that.

UI/ UX designer role is about researching, understanding user interaction, familiarity with working and latest trends to conceptualize, design and execute interfaces, templates etc across popular devices to drive results in terms of retaining users, gaining sales or leads, etc such that a domain or sector stay profitable and unbeatable for ages to come.
