I'm VAN'.
I'm an illustrator, cartoonist, and apparel designer.
After studying at a fashion school, I'm working as an illustrator and cartoonist while experiencing skateboard brand apparel design.
As a personal project, I have been posting a four-frame comic work called 'KAMO CHiLL SK8ERS' mainly on Instagram for a year, and it is my daily routine to upload one episode each day.
Originally, the beginning of such activities was that I liked sneakers when I was a student, so I went to the NIKE headquarters in the United States for a solo tour. At that time, I started to draw a pair of sneakers every day as a self-appeal portfolio. After that, it wasn't just sneakers, but the diary activity of drawing sketches has continued for about eight years.
As a result, the activity of accumulating steadily every day like a daily routine became familiar to the body, and later I started to make a cartoon about the daily life of playing skateboarding with my friends, and it evolved into a work called 'KAMO CHiLL SK8ERS'.
