Biography
The history of the TypeType font design studio began with a simple desire of two people to rethink the process of creating fonts, and over the past 6 years, this idea has developed into a full-fledged modern type production, which currently unites 18 like-minded typeface lovers within its walls.
From the very beginning, we have relied on a scientific approach, in-depth analytics and the introduction of innovative technologies. This approach allowed us to develop and learn on our own, and already in 2017 we launched our own technical department, thanks to which we improved the tools our designers use and were able to significantly improve the quality of our fonts, as well as independently learned how to hint our fonts.
At a certain moment, we faced the problem of a lack of personnel, and in order to solve it, we organized and conducted two rounds of six-month courses teaching type design and technologies. As a result of these courses, 6 wonderful people joined TypeType.
